The enlargement of the European Union has for a long time been a vision and is now becoming a reality. With the accession of the new Member States, political integration and co-operation in the EU will become even more important than they have been up to
now.
Under the umbrella of the European Public Health Centre North Rhine-Westphalia (EPHC) persons and organisations have come together who will support this European unification process in the field of health.
According to its statutes, the purpose of the EPHC is to promote and encourage the dialogue between politics, science and practice in the field of European health policy and public health.
